ABOUT CHRISTIN
My journey as a clinician began with a fascination for how trauma shapes human behavior. Over the past 10 years, I’ve guided adults through addiction recovery, chronic stress, and the lingering impact of challenging life experiences.
Education & Clinical Experience
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Arizona State University and my Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. My professional journey began at The Meadows, a world-renowned inpatient treatment center specializing in trauma and addiction recovery. There, I worked with adults facing a wide range of challenges, including addiction, combat-related trauma, and family-of-origin issues. I had the privilege of training under some of the leading experts in the field, including Pia Mellody and Peter Levine. It was at The Meadows that I was first introduced to Somatic Experiencing®, a modality that now forms the foundation of my work.

Approach & Philosophy
Over the course of my career, I’ve seen how trauma can shape behavior, relationships, and overall well-being. These experiences have shaped my approach to therapy, combining evidence-based and body-focused methods to support lasting change. I provide trauma-informed care and strive to create an environment where all adults feel seen, understood, and supported in their growth.
