ABOUT CHRISTIN
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Arizona State University and my Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University.

My professional journey began at The Meadows, a world-renowned inpatient treatment facility specializing in trauma and addiction recovery. During my time there, I worked with individuals facing a range of challenges, including drug and alcohol addiction, sex addiction, combat-related trauma, sexual abuse, depression, anxiety, and family-of-origin issues. I had the privilege of training under some of the leading experts in the field, including Pia Mellody and Peter Levine.

It was at The Meadows that I was first introduced to Somatic Experiencing®, a modality that now forms the foundation of my work with clients. I also hold additional training in EMDR, sex addiction, chronic pain, and attachment-related concerns. Beyond my clinical work, I have served as a supervisor for associate-level clinicians and currently provide mentorship to Somatic Experiencing students as a training assistant.

In addition to my private practice, I teach undergraduate courses on addiction counseling, blending my academic expertise with real-world experience to inspire the next generation of counselors.
